Brian Krebs continues to investigate the Target data breach. In a post published earlier this week, the expert says he has identified the individual that’s operating the underground website on which the stolen information is being sold.

The clues found on various online websites connected to rescator.la, the site that’s selling the data, and its owner point to a Ukrainian man named Andrey (or Andrew) Hodirevski.

While it’s uncertain if the man is involved in the actual hack, it appears that he is somehow connected to it. After being contacted by Krebs, an individual who claimed to know Andrew offered the reporter $10,000 (€7,300) in order to stop the story from being published.
