Victoria Beckham appears to have resolved her differences with fellow former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell. The story goes that they couldn't stand one another in their days as Spice Girls.

Posh invited Geri to stay over at her Beckingham Palace mansion in Sawbridgeworth, Herts. She treated her former band mate with cocktails at Claridge's in London's West End and then a trip to the ballet at the Royal Opera House.

Posh, age 31 already has three kids, and Geri, age 33 is expecting her first. A friend of Posh declared: She was thrilled when she heard Geri was expecting and wanted to spend quality time with her before the baby arrived. There have been lots of rifts between them but they've been speaking regularly for the past 18 months.

Victoria Adams Beckham, called Posh, was considered the least likely of the girls to smile. She was born in Goff's Oak in Hertfordshire in April 1975, and her much-publicized marriage to David Beckham in July 1999 was the entertainment event of the year. Almost exclusively in black she has always been considered the best dressed of the girls. In March 1999 she gave birth to her first son, Brooklyn, named after New York, where he was conceived. This was a subject of jokes for comedian Ali G.

David and Victoria have appeared in many magazines and newspaper articles since their marriage and were listed as the most influential young couple in the UK in 1999. An unauthorized biography detailing the couple's (Posh and Becks) rise to fame has been published in the UK, portions of which they tried to prevent from publication by going to court. It is written by Princess Diana's biographer Andrew Morton.
