In an interview for Today Magazine, "spicy" girl Victoria, better known as David Beckham's wife, states that moving to Los Angeles means a revamping of her image, a new life for the couple and some interesting new neighbors and friends.

This change is due to her husband accepting a contract with an American soccer team, the Los Angeles Galaxy. Apparently, this job is worth a lot of money, since the couple spent almost $22 million dollars on their new home, as reported by the media. Boy, that must be a big home, for that kind of money. Also Victoria has a few plans of herself, besides raising a family, as media have reported a Spice Girls reunion taking place very soon, with some pictures already appearing on websites.

During this interview, Victoria stated that her "sour" image was created by the paparazzi hunting her and publishing only those shots in which she happened not to smile. She says that all photos of her smiling were carefully kept away, as the media - which, apparently, doesn't like her too much - has struggled to keep the false image they created...or so she says: "It's always about the outfit, you know? ... At the end of the day there's always a lot of press around. They select the pictures they want. They make you look the way they want you to look. It's an image. I think there are some people that would be quite devastated should I actually smile or look pleasant, for that fact."

Grouchy Spice also expects the move to L.A. to bring a little peace to the family, as soccer, Beckham and the Spice Girls are not exactly what you'd call famous over there. She also hopes that more famous people will overshadow her and David, thus being left alone by the press and those "nasty" paparazzi. Well, this must be a black day for British media, as they lost the hottest topic since the royal family scandals.

Also, Victoria is very delighted by her new neighbors, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, with whom they already socialized and talked about the hardships of celebrity life. I can hardly wait for rumors regarding the Beckham family and Scientology, as they are bound to appear since Katie Holmes' conversion to the controversial cult.
