Along with the announcement for Porteus 2.1 RC1, Ira McDaniel also announced the stable 2.0.4 version of the Porteus Kiosk Edition distribution, targeted for public Internet cafes.
Being powered by the latest and greatest Linux kernel 3.9.4, Porteus 2.1 RC1 is a development release that includes Mozilla Firefox 21.0, KDE 4.10.3, Xfce 4.10.1, and updated Mesa drivers.
