14 DAY TRIAL // The long arm of the law has reached down and shook reality star Porsha Williams by the collar. Williams has been arrested after she was charged with assaulting her Bravo co-stars Kenya Moore during a reunion of the reality TV series Real Housewives of Atlanta.
After the brawl took place, Kenya filed a police report on the matter and there was an arrest warrant issued on Porsha's name. When she found out she was a wanted woman, Porsha turned herself in with Georgia police, but not before she made sure she spruced up and looked her best.
The mugshot that appeared in the media shows her in full make-up like she was getting ready for a Vogue photo shoot, but sadly, the police cameras don't do her justice. Williams didn't have to stay long at the police section. After she was processed, she was released on a two thousand dollar bond.
The supposed brawl took place on March 27, but it's taken so long to get the arrest warrant because of the fact that the victim, Kenya, was too busy with filming to get her deposition any sooner.
When she finally became available, she told police about the alleged assault that will supposedly be aired on Bravo to raise audiences, and, as a consequence, Porsha found herself a wanted woman.
An eyewitness to the scene told Radar that the whole incident was created by Kenya who brought “[adult] toys to the reunion taping to taunt Porsha about Kordell’s sexuality and she couldn’t take it anymore.”
The same source also described the attack using some very graphic language, “Porsha beat the [expletive] out of her! She is a little thing and she jumped on her and pulled her down to the ground by her hair, and Kenya doesn’t have a weave, it is all her own hair.”
Authorities based their warrant on the testimony given by Kenya, but also on footage obtained from the taping of the show and they finally slapped a misdemeanor battery charge on Williams.
If she's convicted, Williams will have to face up to one year in jail as well as a fine of about one thousand dollars.
But she's not taking it on the chin, folks, TMZ is saying that Porsha has big plans to counter-sue Moore and she's willing to go all the way, wanting to get the District Attorney to file aggravated assault on her co-star.
