Just the past week I was talking about how free pornographic content, along with free security solutions, will prevail even against Windows Vista. These two are some of the most prominent incentives used in social engineering schemes in order to get end users to infect their machines with malicious code. Needless to say, victims won't be getting either the free pornography or the free security software the moment they will agree to various
downloads offered from movies to antivirus programs.

This time around, the attackers have taken it one step further and have combined what appears to be a porn search website with the Microsoft Antispyware Center. As you can see from the screenshots included in this article, the porn search website seems to be hosting the Microsoft Antispyware Center which offers for download the Online Security Scanner. As a matter of fact, the minute you visit the web page, a bogus scan is performed that automatically finds a number of threats on your operating system, even if you run Windows Vista as I am, or Windows XP as Swatkat.

"Warning!! Your system might be at risk!! Spyware and system perfomance scanning are started... Online Security Scanner requires ActiveX controls to repair your computer. To continue, click the icon at the top of the page, and then click ?Install ActiveX Control?. If you don?t see the icon at the top of the page, click here. Spyware threat. Your computer is infected with Spyware", are the messages presented by the face Online Security Scanner which claims to come from the Microsoft Antispyware Center.

When pressing the Remove All button (do not, under any circumstances press the Remove All button, you will be infected with malware!) the site offers for download an application via a Setup.exe installer hosted at a domain with the following name LiveUpdatesNet, designed to both confuse and assure potential victims that this might be connected with Windows Live. Useless to say, the promise of "wild girls and they are really hot" of maxing-search is just a way to get users to infect their machines will malicious code, in this case a Trojan Downloader.
