Pope Francis has shown his humanity once more by taking a kid with Down's Syndrome for a ride in his car.

The AP identifies the teen as 17-year-old Alberto di Tullio of Italy. Alberto got to spin around in the Popemobile, an open-top Mercedes Benz.

He traveled to see the pope from Boiano, near Naples with his church group. Francis noticed him and his Argentine national soccer T-shirt and immediately took a likeness to the teenager.

Tullio rode around in the Mercedes of the Vatican's Head of State on Wednesday, June 19, reports say.

Francis also hugged him before letting him know that he would be letting him in the car with him. Alberto's father, Celestino di Tullio couldn't believe his eyes when the Pope approached them.
