In yet another incident that shows us how the newly elected Pope is just one of us, Pope Francis stumbles as he greets the Cardinals at the Vatican.

According to UPI, the incident took place during an audience held on Friday, March 15. The pope's shoe gets caught in his white robe, but he recovers and keeps a smile on his face the whole time.

76-year-old former Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina has already relayed facets of his personality that paint him as a modest, humble human being.

On his first day as pope, he traveled to the hotel reserved for cardinals where he stayed before being appointed pontiff.

As I noted, he paid his own bill and talked to staff, and also refused the chauffeured ride provided for the pontiff.
