An expert in exorcism is claiming that Pope Francis has performed one on a boy bound to a wheelchair.

On Sunday, May 19, the Pope was in St Peter’s Square in Rome, Italy. After mass, he stopped to pray for those suffering from illnesses, one of whom was the boy he allegedly exorcized.

He placed his hand on his forehead and prayed for him, at which point the boy started having what looks like a seizure.

“It was a prayer of liberation from evil or even a real exorcism,” one specialist said, according to the Mirror.

The believer looked affected by the Pope's presence, and at one point he pushed himself back into the chair, as if an evil soul had been ejected from his body.

“He didn’t intend to perform any exorcism but, as he often does for the sick or suffering, he simply intended to pray for someone,” Vatican reps argue.
