14 DAY TRIAL // Notable creators of casual puzzlers Popcap Games have announced that their hit peg shooter Peggle 2 has just received a new downloadable content pack, introducing a new master, Windy the Fairy.
The Windy Master Pack DLC introduces what Popcap calls "an impish little sprite" to the roster of masters that assist the player in the quest to pop them all that the pachinko pinball simulator challenges its audience with.
The new content pack's master, Windy the Fairy, is a sprite who racks up tons of points with her Fairy Flock special power, which changes blue pegs into much more juicy purple pegs, allowing gamers to make the most out of the physics-based challenges.
The DLC pack also includes 10 new levels for users to go through, as well as 30 additional objectives and three new achievements to earn.
Popcap has been constantly improving the Xbox One exclusive game, the most important addition being the multiplayer mode, whose lack was the game's most notable shortcoming at launch.
The Windy Master Pack DLC is available now for $2 / €2, and the developers also plan to release Peggle 2 on the Xbox 360 home entertainment system from Microsoft on May 7, allowing more players to join in the fun of popping those pesky pegs.
