American television network NBC announced yesterday that pop babe Britney Spears will guest star on an episode of "Will & Grace," broadcasted by the so popular channel.
The star will appear as a Christian conservative sidekick to Sean Hayes' character, Jack, who hosts his own talk show, on the April 13 episode, the network said.
Jack's fictional network, Out TV, is bought by a Christian TV network, leading to Spears contributing a cooking segment called "Cruci-fixin's." It will be the first primetime sitcom appearance for the pop singer and young new mother.
Britney isn't at her first TV experience, as in childhood she repeatedly and regularly appeared on "The Mickey Mouse Club" show. Since then, despite her becoming such a well-known entertainer, she also starred in the critically panned 2002 film "Crossroads."
TV channel NBC is broadcasting very popular shows and sitcoms like "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", "Saturday Night Live", "Law & Order", "Crossing Jordan" and the comedy "Will and Grace". The Emmy Award-winning sitcom "Will and Grace" will end its eight-year run in May. During it's air time it has become known for landing high-profile pop guests, including Madonna, Elton John, Janet Jackson and Cher.
