Poor Superman Superchick Thought Halloween Came Later This Year

At 23 years old, Kate Bosworth can pride herself with being an established household name in showbiz. Unfortunately, not the same can be said about her fashion taste which, no matter how hard she tries to prove otherwise, always comes off as a joke.

Another thing for which Kate is famous is - of course - her relationship with hunky Orlando Bloom (now broken off, for good) and her being the constant target of various organizations and tabloids for an alleged eating disorder. And, truth be told, she does have the body of a 12-year-old girl and we all know it...

Now people in Australia also know this, as the actress made a special appearance at the Victoria Derby, wearing something that looked like a Halloween costume, although she might have claimed it didn't, had she been asked directly.

Besides the otherwise pretty, but out of place head-ornament, Kate also sported a dress that could have been made from the lace her grandma used to make ornaments. Although taken separately, each item that she wore was quite nice and more than interesting, when put together on her almost vanishing body, they made up for a scary little girl that tried to pass for a trendsetter or, even worse, for a fashion icon.

In another order of ideas and without getting into all that anorexia thing (that she never admitted to, by the way), Kate seems to look much older than she is. I mean, despite having probably tons of make up and foundation carefully smeared onto her face, she looks at least 45... Rumor has it that, at the Derby, people were whispering around her on the awful way she looked.

Maybe it will take a while but, eventually, she will do as Nicole Richie did: she will admit (sorta) to having a problem and seek some professional help. God knows she needs it...
