Polly, an open source Linux Twitter client designed for multiple columns of multiple accounts, is now at version 0.93.5.

According to the developer, the rhythm of Polly releases has been slow because of some external factors, but a new, better version is on the way, promising a lot of new features.

The latest version of Polly, 0.93.5, only contains an experimental fix for an issue that makes streams stop being updated.

The next version should provide some interesting new features such as support for Unity launcher features like badges and quicklists, improved proxy support, including HTTP authentication, Twitter 1.1 API, tweet font customization, background color for mentions and unread items, improved error bars, and improved keyring support, based on the Secret Service freedesktop standard.

Download Polly 0.93.5
right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
