Peaches Geldof was laid to rest last week on Monday, after she died unexpectedly of causes to be determined in her home on April 7. The daughter of famous musician Bob Geldof and TV presenter Paula Yates, Peaches was a model and a TV presenter herself.

Entertainmentwise reports that the local police force plans to hold an inquest into her death on Thursday, May 1. According to a statement given by the Kent County Council, there is going to be a brief hearing that will consist of a senior police officer reading a statement and the coroner releasing the details of the post-mortem investigation.

Up until now, the only details about her cause of death were linked to the toxicology reports which have been reported to be “inconclusive,” and thus unable to pinpoint the exact cause of death for the 25-year-old Peaches.

A heart-broken Geldof family gathered at Davington, Kent, for the funeral that took place on Easter Monday, at the very same church where Peaches had gotten married to musician Thomas Cohen a mere 18 months before.

Because the procession was private, there aren't too many details about what exactly went on, but people who were present at the scene claimed that husband Thomas Cohen performed the song “Hey That's No Way to Say Goodbye” at the funeral, while her father Sir Bob Geldof gave a touching eulogy.

It was also reported in the press that her family gave Peaches a hand-painted coffin, which had a drawn portrait of her family on one side. It featured Peaches, her husband Thomas Cohen and their two children, Phaedra and Astala.

Among the main factors held accountable for her death are a presumably dangerous diet she was on at the time, that had caused her to drop dangerously in weight and also may have caused her a heart attack.

Peaches had been struggling with her weight after the birth of her second child, and she often starved herself in order to shed those last couple of pounds. She was warned by several specialists that her fruit and vegetable juice-based diet was causing her dangerous electrolyte imbalances that would affect her heart.

The only other theory is related to a new religion she had taken up recently, called OTO, and which dealt primarily with black magic. Of course, there was also some speculation regarding the fact that she was also into Scientology at some point, although it is believed that she hadn't practiced that religion for some time.
