A brand new report has appeared online claiming that Visceral Games, the studio behind the Dead Space series, is working on a police-themed Battlefield game that will appear later this year and is codenamed Havana.

The Battlefield franchise has remained EA's only big first-person shooter series after the shelving of the Medal of Honor series.

Now, after several rumors in the past about another Battlefield game that's in development at Visceral, a new report has appeared online with a few more details.

According to Polygon, Visceral's Battlefield title has a police theme, possibly military police, and is currently codenamed Havana.

The title is set to debut later this year, and it seems that developers from Ghost Games' UK branch, who previously worked on Need for Speed: Rivals, have already been re-allocated to the new shooter.
