New details have emerged in the case of Chris Brown’s arrest on domestic abuse. Police officers on the scene of the 911 call made on Sunday night also took photos of a battered Rihanna before letting her go. They show two contusions on each side of the head, a broken nose and lip, bite marks on her arms and legs, which are, it is said, “horrific” enough to prove, beyond a doubt, domestic abuse.
“The photos show major contusions on both sides of the singer’s face – there is serious swelling and bruising. Her lip is split and her nose bloody. We have now confirmed there are bite marks on one of her arms and on several fingers. Rihanna claims Brown struck her with his fists and that’s what did the damage. There was no object used in the alleged attack.” TMZ now confirms, after having spoken to several law enforcement sources. Moreover, it seems that Rihanna refused medical help on the scene, but was not allowed to leave until the police took photos of her condition. These pics are described as “devastating” and “horrific,” and, at the same time, irrefutable evidence alone of domestic abuse. If the ongoing police investigation can prove that Brown is guilty of making criminal threats (which is highly likely, since his victim presented “visible injuries”), he could face up to nine years in jail. A domestic abuse charge could add another two to that, TMZ informs. While Brown is investigated by the police (he is due in court on March 5), not much is known of Rihanna’s whereabouts. Some speculate that she is at Cedars Sinai clinic, where she’s being treated for the injuries resulted from the Sunday attack, but several sources are also telling the media that her family has already rallied up to take the singer back home to Barbados, where she would be “far away from Brown’s reach.” The incident occurred on Sunday, when passers-by heard Rihanna’s screams and called the police. The fight started in Chris Brown’s car and soon escalated to physical violence. After an arrest warrant was issued in Brown’s name, he turned himself in hours later, was booked, posted bail and walked. Story still developing, keep an eye on this space for more.

| Comment #2 by: phoebe archie on 13 Feb 2009, 02:55 UTC | reply to this comment | if chris brown did hit rihanna then i feel sorry for both of them, they were so good together, anyways we nener know, but we must not side with rihanna only, what made chris angry enough to hit her,not that am saying its okay to hit galz, but what made him tick,i do hope that rihanna gets better and next time she must,nt do what she did to piss chris up,he is so hot we dnt need him to go to jail |
| Comment #2.1 by: DAMN on 13 Feb 2009, 20:58 GMT | So basically what your saying is presuming there is a next time (what?) Rhianna needs to shut the hell up and not say a word because she dont want to piss Chris off cause he may hit her. WTF. There shold not be a next time and so what he is hot. He should not have done it period. There are better ways to handle things and if he does not pay for what he did then that is the person our kids are looking up to and think Abuse is ok. It is not ok and he is a person just like any of is and he should suffer the consequences of whatever that cahrge is. |
| Comment #3 by: Ty Andrews on 13 Feb 2009, 08:46 UTC | reply to this comment | When I was in my early 20's my girlfriend of 20 years, had a few cage matches, and they were all alcohol induced frenzies. We decided it wasn't worth it we both quit drinking and found god, we are also both full time musicians. God helped us get over jelousy and grow up. I Really think they can work past this. Just let each other have their own idenity and be who they are. Love that person for the reason you were attracted to them and not try to change them. Bless both of them |
| Comment #4 by: prettytzer on 13 Feb 2009, 13:26 UTC | reply to this comment | I think that the media is playing a big role in how this case is perceived. In every story, there are two sides to it and then there is the actual truth. What I find so disturbing about this is. the media has interviewed his step father, but not the woman who gave birth to him. We have reports from, friends, family and both camps about how this has been going on, SO WHY DID NO ONE DO ANYTHING BEFORE, WAS EVERYONE RIDING THE GRAVY TRAIN AND TURNING THE OTHER CHEEK!!. |
| Comment #5 by: Ini on 13 Feb 2009, 14:23 UTC | reply to this comment | @Latoya
are you out iof your mind? they need to forgive each other??? For god's sake woman ; he HIT her, BIT her and punched her in the face that her nose broke. This is UNFORGIVABLE! I hope she leaves his sorry butt and has common sense enough to press charges. It is NEVER ok to hit someone! |
| Comment #6 by: Megan on 13 Feb 2009, 19:22 UTC | reply to this comment | I believe that people are to quick to pass judgment, Like come on, right now no one really knows what happened...
I think until either Chris or Rihanna make a statement themselves everyone should just relax...
I also think Chris needs some help, maybe go to some classes or something...who knows....
everyone just need to stop passing jugement and leave them alone for right now....he did something stupid and im sure he knows that...and if he really did to it, then im sure he knows he gonna pay for it...
and she needs time to heal...in both aspects....
just leave them alone!! |

| Comment #7 by: Daved on 14 Feb 2009, 10:19 UTC | reply to this comment | Fact: Rihanna got beat up.
Reason: Only Chris & Rihanna know why.
My feels: Its not okay to hit a woman at all!
Ladies, if you are abused and still choose to stay in the relationship, you may end up dead... because he may never change and the violence will increase with time. |
| Comment #8 by: caroline on 15 Feb 2009, 10:56 UTC | reply to this comment | latoya i completely agree with you, im sure there is no where in the bibe that says if your man beats the living crap out of you you have to stay together?
once the seal has been broken on domestic violence there is no going back- to accept it once is to condone it.
i mean to bite her? what is he a crazed animal??? i have no time for this he should be behind bars and she should try and put this awful incident behind her and move onwards and upwards. |
| Comment #9 by: rebecca on 16 Feb 2009, 16:28 UTC | reply to this comment | i am so hurt i really loved him and rihanna i went to 3 of her concerts and loved them all i really hope they get back together and i really hope i see chris brown some day his a ledge |
| Comment #10 by: annie on 18 Feb 2009, 18:08 UTC | reply to this comment | i really liked chris brown and rhianna but now i can't respect chris as a singer or a person. someone who could do that to another person is definitly not a good role model. |
| Comment #10.1 by: domi on 26 Nov 2010, 17:57 GMT | are you retarded like really, chris brown abused rihanna and you want them to get back together? like wow you need to get a brain check! chia |
| Comment #11 by: Mama Mia on 18 Feb 2009, 18:46 UTC | reply to this comment | I, personally, don't care what she said to Chris. Nothing said should make it okay to beat someone senseless. This guy should know better, as he saw first hand what happened to his Mom when Dad beat her. No excuses for this behavior. Shutting up because you think you will get beaten again...I don't think so. This relationship is way over or it should be. |
| Comment #12 by: tenaelove on 20 Feb 2009, 05:33 UTC | reply to this comment | this whole situation is out of control period, let's stop judging people cause no one knows really what happened...the pics may be real or fake who knows....and chris really may need help, its not ok to hit a woman, let along a girl you care for, if he respect his mama he should respect woman! Get well rihanna |
| Comment #13 by: staraisa on 21 Feb 2009, 02:33 UTC | reply to this comment | Omg rihanna..for best you should leave chris brown he really abused you very badly..i looked at him as that type of person he was my idol & for him to do that is very messed up..your a beautiful gorgeuous girl & you deserve better..you have the talent of singing & don't let chris brown bring you down |
| Comment #14 by: p l a on 22 Feb 2009, 00:01 UTC | reply to this comment | I think that young people are try to be "grown" to early. Sure they make more money than most adults, but thay are not mature enough to be running around like grown folk doing what grown folk do. There should be a class in school to teach young ladies as well as young men how they should treat one another. Many say that this should be taught at home, but we know that in many homes today individuals have never been taught by an adult. (the age span between mother/father and child is 15 years.) The class needs to be taught by individuals that care . Not by a teacher who is made ot teach it. |
| Comment #15 by: Val on 01 Mar 2009, 06:00 UTC | reply to this comment | Well, well... I don't think there would be any reasons that could justify Chris Brown's action. As they say in my country: "today he sent me flowers because he loves me. the next day he sends me flowers to say he is sorry for beating me up, then the last day I did receive flowers, but it was for my funerals" So you ladies out there being abused, wake up and smell the coffee... Of course there are exceptions to the rules but you need to be vigilant.
It is so sad to see 2 young singers throwing their future away...
My advice: is communication and honesty are they key for a very good relationship!!! |
| Comment #16 by: Lauren Larner on 14 Mar 2009, 23:17 UTC | reply to this comment | No one knows what happened so stop judging. You people are acting like you know them and what happened. For all you know this coulda been done for a show and publicity who knows. Thats the famous life for u. |
| Comment #17 by: maeva on 27 Mar 2009, 12:36 UTC | reply to this comment | wat do u mean love makes u do crazy things??? do you honestly think dat was an act of love? It was an act of violent abuse! i agree dat we need god in our lives and in our relationships, dats true, unfortunatley we dont no how strong her faith is or if chris is willin 2 let god change him....so yeh lets pray god works in their relationship. |

| Comment #19 by: Gansta Mikey Mouse on 01 Nov 2010, 05:37 UTC | reply to this comment | This really is sad to her about. Not Negitivly Speaking Though. Hell I'm still Confused about this whole thing to be truefully honest. Just to say I feel really bad for Rihanna.I mean just to see all the touble and pain he put her threw. And just to see the pictures of her badly beaten and all swollen. She has been threw a lot lately. But still all I can say is to keep focus on your career feel better and go on continuing to keep living on and to block out all of the negitive stuff and think Positive. Sincerly from a huge fan of yours:) :) ;) :)XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO :) :) :) :) Peace I'm Out. | |
