Thus, they took the time to design and manufacture a shoulder holster made to fit his body, and even wrote “Police K-9” on it. Sources report that the gun is an automatic pistol, and that the dog is quite proud of his having been entrusted with the responsibility of carrying it around.
However, some people fear that the decision to present a dog with a gun was a rather poor one, seeing how accidents could happen at any time.
As far as I am concerned, it's all a big publicity stunt, simply because nobody could ever be that “ingenious” as to believe that dogs made trustworthy gun carriers.
