Three people are presumably dead and thirty more were injured after a police helicopter crashed on one of Glasgow's most famous pubs. The Clutha pub was filled with people attending a famous concert when the aircraft fell from the sky “like a stone.”

Scottish police confirmed as much as 32 victims taken to the hospital after the crash, some injured very seriously and some that did not make it through. Authorities are trying to prepare the public for the news of more fatalities, as they dig through the wreckage.

The exact reasons why the helicopter crashed are still unknown but technicians assume the pilot tried to land on the roof of the pub after encountering some power source problems, according to Daily Mail.

Andy Dixon, RAF technician speculated that “the pilot has come down at the roof and the rotar blades have spun down. At some point, the weight of the aircraft would have overcome the support of the roof.”

The aircraft had two police officers and a civilian pilot on board when it hit the pub. Eyewitnesses say that passersby didn't run for their own safety, but ran towards the club to help the wounded creating a human chain in an attempt to carry the victims outside. The unlucky ones who were still caught inside started to panic and rush for the doors.

One of the people in the pub, Fraser Gibson, says that he was listening to the band performing when “midway through their set it sounded like a giant explosion. The room was covered in dust, we didn't know what had happened, we froze for a second, there was panic and then people trying to get out the door,” according to Daily Mail.

There is no exact number of how many people were in that bar at 10:25 pm. when the horrible accident happened, so there is no way of knowing how many victims haven't been found yet. Alex Salmond, Scottish First Minister said “we must prepare ourselves for the likelihood of fatalities, “ and then added “our thoughts are with everyone involved with the incident in Glasgow.”

The building is currently unstable and all efforts go into making the construction safe for interventions. The officers don't want to risk any more lives while trying to determine the causalities left in the pub. 125 firefighters, 15 rescue engines and many more police officers are at the scene trying to handle the horrible situation as well as they can.

Official and celebrities went to Twitter and other social media sites to show their support for the ones affected by the terrible crash. One of the persons walking by the club at the moment of the incident tweeted “This is unbelievable. Just spent 20 minutes pulling people out the bar. Apparently a helicopter crashed on the roof.”
