Kate and Jon Gosselin get into bitter fight, police are called to break them up and calm them down

As the Gosselins’ popularity is reportedly taking a major hit since few are those who want to see them as parents of eight if they are not married, the civility they show to each other is also dwindling. The two got into such a massive fight the other night over Jon’s supposed affair with his nanny that someone called the cops on them and Kate had to vacate the premises embarrassed and upset, Radar Online informs.

The fight seems to have started over Stephanie Santoro, a former waitress and aspiring model whom Jon hired as nanny for the eight kids he has with Kate, a thing she clearly did not agree to and on which she was perhaps not even consulted before it happened. Kate arrived at the house in Wernersville, PA, even if it was Jon’s night to be with the kids and got extremely upset when she heard that Santoro was also inside. Jon, on the other hand, reacted to his former wife’s anger by refusing to let her in the house.

Kate and Jon’s screaming got so loud that someone called the police. When officers arrived on the scene, they had to tell Kate to leave the premises and she went and checked into a nearby hotel, Radar also says. “Kate showed up at the house unexpectedly. It’s Jon’s scheduled time to be there with the kids. Kate couldn’t get access to the house. She was upset.” an eyewitness tells Radar. No arrests were made when police arrived, the same e-zine confirms.

With all this, Jon Gosselin is adamant that the media know the truth about what happened that night. The morning after the fight and the 911 call, he came out of the house, headed straight for the fence and approached the paparazzi to set the record straight. It was not his fault police got involved, Gosselin said, but Kate’s because she failed to respect his visitation rights. The matter would now be handled by their attorneys in court, he also said.

“You know me, I don’t come home when she’s with the kids, because I respect her time with the kids. She tried to come home yesterday, and I wouldn’t let her in the gate. I guess she called the police, and the police came. They said it was a civil matter, and we would have to work it out with our attorneys. The officer pulled me aside, and I’m like, ‘This has never happened before, and I am spending time with my kids, and she’s going to have to leave’.” Jon Gosselin told the paps gathered outside his home shortly after the incident, E! Online informs.
