The device should be capable of supporting up to six hours of video playblack

Music lovers might have noticed this, but the Android ecosystem seems to lack a real equivalent to the iPod Touch.

So in order to fulfill their musical needs, most green robot supporters turn to smartphones, but the question still remains, is there something out there that resembles the Apple tune player?

The Polaroid 4.3-inch Android Internet tablet might be considered an option. The device features a screen with 480 x 272 pixel density, which is comparable with the earlier generations of the iPod Touch (which had 480 x 320 resolution).

The Polaroid is powered by a primitive 1GHz single CPU, but if you’re going to use this device for playing music, you don’t need more. I noticed a little quirk, the specs claim the mini-tablet has a 11MP camera, which is a bit laughable, because there's no way Polaroid has added such a capable snapper on a budget product like this.

The device runs the outdated Android 4.0, but that means users should have access to the Google Play Store too, at least (via Wi-Fi).

The mini-slate has a storage capacity of 4GB, but that can be increased to 32GB (if you’re willing to spend the extra $20 / €15, that is) so you can easily store a few albums.

The good news is the Polaroid will cost you only $70 / €51 and even if it doesn't seem too capable, it’s still good enough to be playing your favorite tunes.
