The American branch of Nintendo has confirmed the release of Nintendo 2DS bundles pre-installed with Pokemon X and Pokemon Y, available at North American retailers.

The Pokemon X bundle will only be available at Target stores, including the game and a red 2DS, while The Pokemon Y bundle will only be available at Toys'R'Us and will include a blue 2DS along with a copy of the game, both bundles retailing for $150 / €110 each.

Bundles will be available starting December 6 for as long as supplies last, informs Siliconera.

Pokemon X and Y are role-playing video games with adventure elements presented in a third-person overhead perspective. The main goal is to collect and train creatures known as Pokemon, then battle and trade with other human players using the Nintendo 3DS's connectivity features.

Since their official launch on October 12, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y games have sold more than 2 million copies in North America alone. For additional information about the games, visit the titles' official webpage.
