The Australian Classification Board has a long history of offering information about video games that have not yet been announced by developers or publishers, and it seems that their most recent reveal is for Pokemon Rumble World, a new title from Nintendo which might be one of the first titles to arrive on mobile phones.

The official rating page for it states that it will be PG, which makes it suitable to all audiences, and it seems that launch is set to take place on more than one platform.

This might mean that Pokemon Rumble World will be introduced on the 3DS handheld and the Wii U home console or that the company is aiming to also bring it to mobile devices.

The rating page also reveals that online interactive elements are included, which might actually imply that the entire experience will be designed to offer cross-platform matches on all the platforms on which it is introduced.

No information is offered on the business model of Pokemon Rumble World.

Nintendo has not reacted to the Australian Classification Board reveal and says it has no announcement to make at this moment.

The series that Pokemon Rumble World will be part of started with an original title on the old Wii, a Blast installment on the 3DS and Pokemon Rumble U for the Wii U.

Pokemon Rumble World might be a sign of things to come

Nintendo has announced that it was working with DeNA in order to create titles that will be offered on both smartphones and tablets, which has given the company a solid boost in terms of stock market evaluation.

Until now, no actual games that will be part of the initiative have been revealed, but Pokemon Rumble World might be the kind of experience that appeals to a wide variety of potential customers and could work well using a free-to-play model.

The new title might get an official reveal in time for the E3 2015 event.

Nintendo is aiming to use mobile gaming as a way to get around the lower than expected sales of the Wii U home console, although the move might be a problem for the 3DS in the long term.
