14 DAY TRIAL // Good news for all Pokemon fans, as it has been revealed that Charizard can now Mega Evolve. The Pokemon can turn into Mega Charizard X or Mega Charizard Y according to what Mega Stone it holds: Charizardite X or Charizardite Y.
This Mega Evolution represents an extraordinarily powerful state that can only be achieved by certain Pokemon, during battles in certain video games that will be available worldwide on October 12. These games are “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y” and will be released for Nintendo 3DS on the said date.
It seems that when Charizard Mega Evolves into Mega Charizard X, the player will be able to notice how his flames burn blue and his body turns black. Besides this, the Pokemon changes from a Flying-type to a Fire and Dragon one.
In order to make the previous Mega Charizard evolve into Mega Charizard Y, the player must obtain Charizardite Y in “Pokemon Y.” The result is an increase in its attacks, changing Charizard's ability to Drought, therefore boosting his Fire-type moves. To the delight of gamers all around the world, other new abilities such as Tough Claws can now be tasted.
