Pokemon and Mii, possible now

Happiness for all the Pokemon fans who were hoping that there would come a time when they're able to really interact
with their favorite characters - now their dreams come true! Well… at least sort of, since the latest WiiWare release is called My Pokemon Ranch and it allows your Miis to interact with Pokemons - probably no battles involved!

However, it will not be the most exciting thing you could ever get since you will only watch your Miis and Pokemons interact and take a picture every now and then (or as often as you please) and send it to your pals or just keep and treasure it forever.

Still, if you are a true Pokemon fan, you should be able to develop a huge ranch, since this WiiWare title can be linked with the Nintendo DS game cards of Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl and allows you to import all the Pokemons you have caught - up to 1000 characters can be deposited from up to eight different cards. It's still a mystery for me if there is actual gameplay involved or you just watch the "game" - and that mystery will remain unsolved. However, if you are really interested in the game and a true Pokemon fan, you can always purchase it for 1000 Wii Points.

If you are not really excited by the release of My Pokemon Ranch on the WiiWare, Nintendo also gives you the chance to download and play, for 600 Wii Points each, Dig Dug and Bio Miracle Bokutte UPA on the Virtual Console.

Dig Dug is the classic game where you defeat enemies by hitting them with the harpoon and pumping air into them or by dropping rocks on them from above - and it is, if you haven't tried it, more fun than it sounds. Bio Miracle, released back in 1988, has been, until now, a Japanese exclusive that puts players into the shoes of a young prince who has to save his kingdom in an adventure that spans over seven different worlds.
