A new gameplay footage video from the upcoming remakes of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has emerged on the Internet, showing what the upcoming games bring to the 3DS.

The fact that Nintendo was planning on releasing remakes of the classic Pokemon games was revealed earlier this year, and it stirred a lot of nostalgia in gamers all around the world, as the old 2003 Game Boy Advance games are among the most popular in the series.

The new footage shows gamers what the map of Hoenn looks like in the upcoming games, revealing that not much has changed really, and the vid also confirms that the remakes will keep the two games' storylines separated, instead of merging them together like in Pokemon Emerald, for instance.

The trailer also shows how the revamped battles will feel, offering a sneak peek at the new character models for some of the stars of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, such as Kyogre and Groudon, as well as Brendan and May.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will delve into the mysteries of the Mega Evolution, and the new Hoenn region will feature more Mega Stones that can be equipped on Pokemon in order to offer them a chance for special evolutions.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are set to launch exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS handheld gaming platform later this year, on November 21.
