Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire are just three weeks away, and Nintendo has just released a new live-action commercial for the two video games.

The upcoming 3DS exclusives are complete remakes of the Game Boy Advance classics Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, coming with a lot of extra features and a slew of new Mega Evolutions.

The games will include all the content in the 2002 originals and will enable users to explore secret areas of Hoenn and to discover new and powerful Pokemon. The transition to the Nintendo 3DS handheld means that gamers will be able to enjoy the familiar content in an all-new visually enhanced fashion.

In addition to this, gamers also have the unique opportunity to capture Legendary Pokemon that will enable them to blaze across the skies and explore Hoenn in a new manner, soaring through the air.

A new live-action TV commercial

To celebrate the incoming release of the games, Nintendo put together a neat TV commercial showing off some of the fanbase's favorite Pokemon in action in the lush environments of Hoenn.

The commercial combines live-action footage with in-game sequences showing how players will be rewarded for exploring the continent and its adjacent islands.

The video sneaks a peek at some of the new features of the title such as new Mega Evolutions, Soaring, and also briefly shows Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre and Mega Rayquaza.

Flying is one of the most exciting features of the video game, and the TV commercial makes sure to build hype by showing the elusive flying dragons in action.

A lot of new incoming content

Gamers can use the Soaring travel method to access exclusive areas called Mirage Spots, where they will be able to find valuable items and rare Pokemon.

The originals had already introduces a lot of new mechanics and features back in 2002, and the remakes plan to double up on that by bringing a host of new critters and abilities, including the Legendary Pokemon Latias and Latios, which can only be found on Hoenn's exclusive Southern Island.

Furthermore, for the first time in the long-standing series, fans of the little critters will be able to dress up Pikachu and have him enter cosmetic competitions, as well as being afforded a wide range of new interactions with their creatures.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire are coming out on November 21 in Japan and North America and on November 28 in Europe, available exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS handheld gaming device.
