Video game publisher Nintendo announces that it will launch Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity on all European markets on May 17 of this year.

The game will be offered exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS handheld with a number of features meant to take advantage of its unique design, according to VG247.

Snivy, Oshawott, Tepig, Pikachu and Axew are the best-known Pokemon included in the new Gates to Infinity and developers have surprises when it comes to the cast and their use.

The game is designed to use Augmented Reality elements to enhance gameplay and for the first time, the series benefits from complex 3D models that make all characters more attractive from a visual standpoint.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity has been offered in Japan since the end of 2012 and the game will be offered in North America one week earlier than on the European market.
