Made in Japan

I know that Pokemon is one of the largest brands in Japan but this is just ridiculous. You see people, some are extremely hungry for money and come out with all kinds of products, including fake Pokemon booze for kids. I don't know which came first, the animated series or the video games?

Whatever the answer is, they should have kept it there as those two areas blend-in quite nicely. But nooooo, they went further are released Pokemon fake champagne. A Kotaku editor sheds some light on this issue: "Here's a bottle of "Shan Meri-," short for "champagne" and "merry." During the holidays, adults in Japan like to knock back bottles of champagne. And not to make the kids feel left out, alcohol-free soda pop that is packaged in beer, wine, champagne-type bottles. We picked this up at the neighborhood liquor store, marked down after Cmas".

So, after you watch an episode of the Pokemon series, you need to guzzle down a few bottles of Shan Meri and then you're set for a Pokemon Pearl Diamond of Nintendo DS. As long as you buy their products, everyone is happy! So won't you pick up an extra bottle of Shan Meri for me?
