Point of View has just released a new firmware for its TAB-P1325 (Mobii 1325) tablet, namely the 1.0 version build 20130524, which fixes an issue with the language selection that would disappear after shutdown.

In addition, the package also fixes the issue with the shutdown option that would result into a system restart when the DC charger was attached to the tablet.

If you consider updating to this version, you should know that a backup of the important files is recommended, the battery must be fully charged, and the AC adapter must be connected.

Moreover, any antivirus software that is installed on the computer must be disabled before starting the upgrade.

The installation process is similar to that used for updating the previous version, and uses the “RKBatchTool.exe” as a primary update utility file.

Bear in mind that while applying the new firmware, the devices mustn’t be powered off, and the USB cable must remain connected. After the process finishes, the first boot will take longer than usual – make sure you don’t interrupt it.
