Unleashes the first TGT-branded group of graphics cards

Recently, graphics cards maker Point of View set up a team, the TGT team, right after it hired Wolfram Tismer, formerly of EVGA Europe. This team created a new line of video cards that is exclusively composed of customized GeForce GTX 400 models, some of which can be said to reach such high clock speeds that they eclipse most, if not all, competing products. This TGT Series currently has eight members, each with a supposed overclocking efficiency of up to 85%.

There are four GTX 460 versions, two 768MB ones and two 1GB versions, as well as two GTX 470 and, again, a pair of GTX 480 models. Each pair has a so-called 'Charged' model and a 'Ultra Charged' one, these names determining the amount by which the GPU clock was pushed over the top. For example, in the case of the GTX 460 with 768MB of GDDR5, the Charged card has the GF104 clocked at 780 MHz and the memory at 3,800MHz, whereas the Ultra Charged goes all the way to 820Mhz and 4,000MHz, respectively.

The situation is quite similar for the GTX 470, whose Charged and Ultra Charged incarnations operate at 650MHz and 680MHz for the GPU (memory works at 3.500 on both). As for the top-end GTX 480, the GPUs are set at 730Mhz and 760MHz, whereas the memory stays at 3,800MHz on both. These numbers aren't all that give the newcomers their hype, however. In fact, their maker hand-selected fusions of BIOS tuning and proprietary hardware design. It also made 'comprehensive burn-in tests' of each TGT Series member, so as to be sure that they have the utmost quality and stability ratings.

Point of View's TGT collection of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 400 Series video controllers will start shipping 'shortly', but their prices have not been disclosed. They will be backed by a 3-year warranty.
