14 DAY TRIAL // Infamous hacker Pod2g is teasing his 290K Twitter followers with a message regarding his latest jailbreak in which he claims to have no intentions to release a beta, and that his finalized jailbreak tool is weeks away from launch.
Pod2g has recently posted a video demonstration of his latest achievements with iOS 5.1.1 and Apple’s A5X-based iPad 3.
Per his YouTube footage, the Chronic Dev Team leader has managed to crack Apple’s third-generation iPad untethered, meaning all devices released prior to the iPad 3 are also jailbreakable.
However, despite ending a poll with over a hundred thousand votes in favor of the release, Pod2g won't barge.
“ETA for 5.1 jailbreak: look at my previous tweets. Some weeks away to have a nice, user friendly tool. No beta, sorry, even for $1,000,000,” he writes on Twitter.
