PocketWizard has just announced the availability of two new firmware updates targeted at its MiniTT1 and FlexTT5 TTL wireless transmitters, namely versions 3.700 and 6.700 compatible with Nikon and Canon cameras, respectively.

As part of the changelog, these new releases include full compatibility with Nikon’s D810, D4S, D610, Df, D7100, D5300, D5200 and D3300 digital cameras, as well as with the Canon 1D X, 6D, 70D, 700D (T5i ),650D (T4i), 1200D (T5), and 100D (SL1) imaging devices.

In addition to that, the new firmware adds TTL compatibility for Canon’s 1D X, 6D, and 650D camera models.

As for the other changes, while version 3.700 for Nikon enhances the SpeedCycler usability along with remote TTL flashes by fixing the B and C zones that wouldn’t sync in certain situations, the 6.700 update for Canon improves AF Assist handling.

Moreover, the Nikon-compatible package also resolves the MiniTT1’s improper battery level indicator in the utility and changes the LED blinking behavior when powering up the FlexTT5 on low batteries.

Last but not least, the 6.700 Canon update fixes a problem where some AC3 ZoneController settings would not work after a calibration shot.
