It never ceases to amaze me just how many Android devices can make their appearance in just one day, PocketBook being the latest manufacturer to add a new tablet offering to an already more than impressive list, while also revealing a Linux based eReader, the PocketBook 602.

Powered by pretty much the same 533MHz processor as well as 256MB or RAM, both of these devices go for an old-school 4:3 aspect ratio screen that displays 800x600 pixels, although the IQ tablet comes with a color TFT touchscreen while the 602 eReader features a e-Ink panel that can display 16 shades of gray.

Although I can't really say that the hardware packed inside is particularly powerful (actually I have my doubts regarding the whole user experience since that 533MHz processor seems really slow), the PocketBook IQ 701 tablet PC comes with a pretty attractive price as this is available for just $149 in its base configuration.

Other features include a USB port, headphone jack, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, a SD card slot as well as a 1600mAh battery that is good for up to 245 hours of use, according to the manufacturer.

Moving on to the eReader, this also comes packed with WiFi and Bluetooth support as well as 2GB of internal storage memory expandable via a microSD card slot.

Compatible with a wide range of formats, this eReader has an estimated battery life of about 14,000 page flips thanks to a 1530 mAh power pack.

Price wise, the 6 inch tablet is a bit more expensive than the IQ tablet, PocketBook selling this for $179, availability being the same for both products, PocketBook seling these all over Europe.

Unfortunately, US and Canada aren't on that list and we have no word on when these will become available on the other side of the Atlantic. (via Android Community)
