The new version offers the ability to edit tags while reading

Pocket application for Android devices, formerly known as Read It Later, has just received a major update that promises to make it faster than before.

According to developers, this update is all about performance, so Android users should expect a quicker and more responsive application.

In addition, the latest version has been optimized to work better on all new devices such as Nexus 4, 7 and 10. In this regard, Pocket features faster booting, smoother scrolling and much better responsiveness.

The update also adds the ability to edit tags while reading and solves some issues with Asus tablets. Some bug fixes have been included as well.

Pocket 4.3 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.
