Xbox One owners will be pleased to know Microsoft has prepared another timed-exclusive game for their consoles. The first-person puzzler Pneuma: Breath of Life developed by Deco Digital has just been confirmed for February 27.

Pneuma: Breath of Life is built in Unreal Engine 4 and promises to offer unrivaled challenging puzzles that will put your brain to its limits.

According to developers, the game is meant to “contemplate the nature of reality” and allow players to explore “the ontological mystery of the Breath of Life.”

Pneuma: Breath of Life plans to provide players with “an unrivalled sense of awe and a relentless determination to solve every puzzle and progress through a narrated story of self-discovery, exploring the fundamental nature of being.”

Developers also warn about the difficulty of their game and advise players to think outside the box if they want to have an easier time in Pneuma: Breath of Life.

Push your brain to its limits in this exciting new first-person puzzler as Pneuma contemplates the nature of reality and you explore the ontological mystery of the Breath of Life.

The PC version of the game is listed on Steam Greenlight

Pneuma: Breath of Life is a time-limited exclusive for Xbox One, so PC players can expect to get the game as well, but only later on.

As a matter fact, Pneuma: Breath of Life is already waiting to be Greenlit on Steam, so those interested in purchasing a more difficult puzzler may want to vote for it.

More importantly, Pneuma: Breath of Life will feature full Oculus Rift at launch, so here is another aspect that might make it very popular among gamers.

It's also worth mentioning the game is more than likely to arrive on PlayStation consoles as well, but the timing has yet to be announced.

Here is what one of the developers had to say about the work they had to put in to make Pneuma: Breath of Life:

"“Since we announced Pneuma as a timed exclusive on Xbox One, we couldn’t wait to reveal footage from the finished game to the public as well as begin to talk about compatibility with Oculus Rift.

We’ve quite literally been working day and night for the past 6 months on no salary to make the game. We’ve survived by working at bars during the night until the early hours of the morning then coming back into our studio at 9:00AM to continue work on Pneuma.

It’s not been easy, but I believe what we’ve designed is something special that the gaming community is craving on both consoles and PC.”

Anyway, Xbox One players will be the first to determine how good of a puzzler Pneuma: Breath of Life can be, so stay tuned for more updates on this one and check out the trailer below.
