The folks at LevelUp Studio have just announced a new update for its Plume application for Android devices. Formerly known as Touiteur, Plume is currently one of the most popular Twitter clients available in the Google Play store.

The most important change added with the latest update is the brand new user interface which has been especially designed to work on Ice Cream Sandwich devices.

Furthermore, a TMI.me long tweet handler in addition to Twitlonger has been included, along with a MyPict.me picture upload function, which allows users to resize uploaded pictures, depending on the network type in use.

Obviously, the update also includes some bug fixes and overall improvements which aren’t detailed by the developer.

“Plume for Twitter” is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.0.1 and up.
