Plextor Gives Away Very Fast M5S SSDs

We reported about Plextor’s new M5S SSD product line here and we presented you the technology in detail here. Besides launching exclusive limited editions of its products like the one we reported here, Plextor is now giving away new M5S SSDs to let people know about its fast and quality drives.

The M5S series from Plextor gave up on using Toshiba Toggle NAND and now has Micron as the main supplier of flash memory.

M5S SSDs are manufactured by Philips & LITE-OaN Digital Solutions (PLDS) Taiwan and come with Plextor-designed firmware and useful software.

There are only three models available currently – 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB capacities –, and Plextor USA has decided to give some of these for free.
