The Wii Couch Potato

YouTube today shows a video of a guy who is too lazy to even have fun. He is playing on his Nintendo Wii while eating pizza, or whatever, and it looks like he is having more fun with the eating part. He looks slightly disgusted about the action taking place on-screen and while the video is clearly a bad joke, it is also an insult to the Wii's way of use.

The video
was made to show just how lazy some can be but it is more of a poor attempt of being funny. Clearly what's happening on screen requires more handling of the wiimote but if it's true, and the only movements necessary to complete the game's tasks are those performed by our charming "actor", then the game is just too simple. As far as I know, playing a game with the wiimote asks for constant attention, coordination and quick reflexes, something that our guy is not really showing off.

It's a fairly decent video, a little funny too, but when he actually held the controller between his toes and moved it around, all this still eating something that looked like New Year's Eve leftovers made me want to throw up.

Nobody says don't make a funny video but when it clearly shows what kind of person you are, you might want to get a second opinion on that. Maybe you're ugly and you don't know it, because your friends haven't been totally honest with you after your car crash/accident, or, perhaps your sexual orientation is more obvious than you think, or it just might be that you're plain stupid and that never goes unnoticed.

OK, that's enough, just watch it and judge the guy for yourselves!
