Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy pictorial has generated a lot of media even before release, mostly because it was believed the association between her scandalous public persona and the famous magazine would be spectacular. Glamour girl Hope Dworaczyk is not impressed with the outcome.
As anyone with an Internet connection must already know by now, the pictorial leaked weeks before release, prompting Hugh Heftner to rush the release of the issue in a bid to cut down losses.
Not few were those who said they expected a better, more visually stunning spread. Hope Dworaczyk, the current Playmate of the Year, is one of them.
Paparazzi from TMZ caught up with Hope the other day in Los Angeles and, as expected, they did not pass on the opportunity to ask her what she thought of Lindsay’s job as a glamour girl.
Initially, she refused to be drawn into the conversation but, in a matter of minutes, she’d settled on speaking her mind: she would have done a much better job than Lindsay.
Video of the entire conversation is below, embedded at the end of the article.
“I saw that spread... and I was not impressed,” she initially said, making an effort not to say anything bad about Lindsay specifically.
She then changed her mind, saying Lindsay could have been more careful about her appearance, especially considering she’d known she was going to do it for long and, more importantly, the amount of money she was paid for it.
“I just feel like if I would have known I was doing a Playboy shoot, I would have worked out more maybe,” Hope said.
To get her to do the pictorial, inspired by the one Marilyn Monroe did for the first issue of the men’s magazine, Hugh Hefner reportedly paid Lindsay $1 million (€719,476).
They had to do the shoot twice because the first one came out bad, word online has it.
