Playboy model and glamor girl Cassandra Lynn Hensley, who was Miss February 2006 for the famed men’s publication, has been found dead in a friend’s bathtub at his LA apartment. New details indicate that she may have had ODed.

TMZ broke the news of her passing, saying she’d been discovered in the bathtub lifeless by the friend, and that police were pursuing the theory that she had ingested something before she got into the tub.

In an update, the same media outlet notes that the 34-year-old model had actually passed away at the home of a photographer she’d met with days before for a shoot that was supposed to take place in LA. She’d flown in a few days before specifically for this.

The identity of the man has not been made public, with the e-zine identifying him solely as “a celebrity photographer.” Admittedly, when Cassandra landed, she complained “she was not feeling well,” which she repeated several times during her short stay.

“The photog took her to a fitting and then a photo shoot in the afternoon and she continued to complain she wasn't feeling right. Sources say they went to the photog's home in the early evening and partied,” TMZ writes.

The photographer told police that said partying involved lots of cocaine and champagne, and that they also had relations. Shortly before midnight, they called it a night and went to bed. When he woke up, she was already dead.

“We're told at some point early the next morning the photog woke up, went to the bathroom and saw water running onto the floor. He then discovered Cassandra in the bathtub, pulled her out and attempted in vain to resuscitate her,” the publication reports.

An autopsy has been performed but the cause of death will only be made public after toxicology results come in, which could take another few weeks. The investigation is ongoing.

Cassandra was living in Fairfax, Virginia and, just recently, she spoke in an interview about how amazing it was for her to discover that there was “life after Playboy.”
