People still want to see Pamela Anderson naked. It's a fact - otherwise, Playboy hadn't just offered the former Baywatch chick a deal that in my opinion is among the best she got in her career. I mean, it doesn't involve drinking and partying till dawn, and it certainly doesn't involve having sex with a man to square off a poker debt, like Pammy recently admitted to having done just a few weeks ago. The fact is, the guy she slept with must have been really good - because otherwise I can't imagine how she ended up dating him.
What, you don't remember who it was? Why, it was (and still is, if we are to believe recent reports) Rick Salomon, none other than the guy we also see having sex with Paris Hilton in her infamous "One Night In Paris" sex tape. And Pamela Anderson may very well have turned 40, but she's no shy baby doll. In fact, Anderson set a record by posing for Playboy no less than 12 times - and probably she thinks that the 13th time is her lucky charm, since I doubt any of the other paychecks she received were so consistent. But you see, this time there's a catch to it.
Pammy, it seems, is also starring in a movie and her co-star is none other than Charlie Sheen's deluded ex wife Denise Richards. The upcoming flick is illustratively called "Blonde and Blonder", and the Playboy deal is for Pam and Denise to appear in a spread together. I understand this as far as Pamela is concerned - she's a Playboy regular, no mystery in that. But Denise can only boast one appearance, when she stripped for the magazine's December 2004 issue.
Playboy boss Hugh Hefner however apparently really wants the actresses to team up for a spread in the January 2008 issue of the publication. A source stated for the Globe that "neither Pam nor Denise has committed yet, but they're seriously considering it". They don't mention how much Denise will cash in for this, but it sure makes her look good as a role model in her bitter custody battle with eh husband Charlie Sheen.
In the long run, I think it's good to have Pammy and Denise pose together. In some strange way, they almost look nice. It makes for a nice change, after earlier this month, it was reported that Hugh Hefner turned down Britney Spears for the magazine as she wanted $1 million. Can you imagine that? Brit Brit with her greasy fingers and bad hair, naked in Playboy? Thank God that's not happening - yet.
