Sony Computer Entertainment is finally giving iPhone users the chance to watch other people’s gameplay sessions with the “Live from PlayStation” feature.

PlayStation fans who also happen to be wielding iPhones have no reason not to download PlayStation App, especially now at version 1.60.6, which enables the “Live from PlayStation” option.

According to the release notes, “Playback of video in notifications from PS Store is now supported. These notifications appear under ‘What's New’.”

Users annoyed that the app connects automatically to their PS4 system in standby mode will no longer experience these issues after updating to the new version. Also, PlayStation App is getting a stability boost.

The requirements for PlayStation App are iOS 6.0 (or newer) and any iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad that supports the firmware. The software is localized in dozens of different languages across all continents.
