Video game hardware maker Sony is releasing a features trailer for the PlayStation Vita TV hardware, which is only offered in Japanese with no English subtitles, but still gives a clear picture of what the new device can do.

The fact that no translation is offered is yet another sign that the company does not have any plans to deliver the hardware on any Western market for the time being.

The PlayStation Vita is designed to allow gamers to stream the titles they play on their handheld and other content on normal television sets.

Sony has also recently teased an announcement about a new PocketStation, which should get more details tomorrow.

The Vita TV will be offered in Japanese stores starting with November 14 and gamers in the US and the EU hope that Sony clears up licensing issues, so that a launch can take place in those territories.
