14 DAY TRIAL // After presenting a very special package for its North American customers, Sony has now revealed just what those who pre-order the upcoming PlayStation Vita will get in Europe and other PAL regions, with the company offering things like branded PS Vita headphones, a special 'gaming wallet' and even discounts for certain games.
The PlayStation Vita is set to make its debut in its native Japan on December 17, and will then be deployed in North America and Europe on February 22.
While some lucky resident of the U.S. or Canada can get the handheld platform early, by pre-ordering it and receiving lots of interesting things, Sony has now presented the PlayStation Vita pre-order incentives for Europe and other PAL regions.
As such, starting from November 30, select retailers will start accepting pre-ordersfor the portable device and offer one of two special PS Vita Gift packs that include "limited edition merchandise, exclusive content and game discounts for PlayStation Store."
The first gift pack includes a pair of special 'PS Vita Blue' in-ear headphones, with a sleek metallic finish, while the other has a 'PS Vita gaming wallet', which includes not just space for your cash or credit cards, but also a hidden compartment for 3 PS Vita game cards and 3 memory cards.
Besides these special items, both gift packs include a pre-order code that will unlock PSN vouchers for things like:
- €5 discount on one of the following PS Vita games on PlayStation Store: Little Deviants, Super Stardust Delta, Hustle Kings, Escape Plan. - Exclusive PS Vita items for PlayStation Home: PS Vita T- Shirt, Sunglasses, Headphones, Trainers and Bag. - Exclusive early access to Frobisher Says! for PS Vita. - An exclusive PS Vita Avatar for PlayStation Network. Bear in mind that the PS Vita Gaming Wallet is available for pre-order just in France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, South Africa and Greece.
