After revealing the PAL update for PlayStation Plus earlier this week, Sony has finally confirmed the free games coming to North America next month, starting with Stick It to the Man on PS4 and continuing with PES 2014, Skullgirls Encore, and Puppeteer on PS3, not to mention Limbo and Surge Deluxe on PS Vita.

PlayStation Plus users have been treated to plenty of amazing deals and free games by Sony, and the month of May is no exception, with the company setting up some great new titles for its subscribers, according to PS blog.

Kicking things off is Stick It to the Man, the quirky puzzle platformer that allows players to read the minds of different people and use them to figure out just what's happening around them. Coupled with a great visual style and some clever writing, the game impressed PC, PS3, and PS Vita owners last year and will debut next month on PS4.

PS3 owners aren't being left out – quite the opposite –, as not one, but three big games are available for them next month for free.

First up is Puppeteer, which tells the story of a boy named Kutaro, who's abducted by the evil Moon Bear King and turned into a puppet. However, thanks to a special pair of scissors, he can navigate the world and return home safe and sound.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 is the second PS3 game going free next month, allowing owners of the console to enjoy the next iteration in the soccer simulator series from Konami. Using the all-new Fox Engine, not to mention plenty of great new mechanics, the game promises to delight PS3 users in North America.

Last but not least for the PS3 is Skullgirls Encore, the re-release of 2D fighting game Skullgirls, which brings all sorts of quirky characters, new mechanics, balance updates, stages, and music. Considering that already quite a few free DLC characters have been released, with more coming in the next few months, it's a great time to jump into this experience.

PS Vita owners are getting two free games next month, starting with Limbo, the atmospheric puzzle platformer that already appeared on quite a lot of devices in recent years. The sharp black and white visuals look great on the Vita, so be prepared to jump into the experience in May.

Vita users can also get Surge Deluxe, an intense color-matching game that tasks players with setting off massive combos in quick succession in order to keep the in-game pipes from bursting.

The new free games will be released throughout the month of May during the weekly PS Store updates in North America.
