Seeing as how the summer season is in full effect, Sony has decided to implement a special batch of discounts on its PlayStation Store, under the Summer Sale banner.

Plenty of digital distribution services are hosting massive summer sales this month, with PC ones like Valve's Steam or GameFly's Direct2Drive slashing the prices on all sorts of games, while Microsoft is getting ready to debut a new edition of the Summer of Arcade promotion.

Sony isn't taking a break, and has just presented the Summer Sale that will be kicked off next week on its Playstation Store.

During the sale, 11 special games will see their prices slashed by 30%, if you're a regular Playstation Network owner, or by 50%, if you have an existing PlayStation Plus subscription.

The list of titles includes hit ones like Chime Super Deluxe, Risk: Factions, Scott Pilgrim versus the World, or Shank, so check it all out below, as highlighted by Sony.
