PlayStation Network Lineup – Available Until May 23rd

- Whether you like the classics, or next-gen HD titles, it's all there

By: Filip Truta, Games Editor

If none of the three major gaming platforms today (Xbox 360, Wii and PS3) provides
gamers with loads of next-gen games, the companies making the consoles fill up the gaps (so to speak) with their Internet services – Xbox Live Arcade, Virtual Console or PlayStation Network. For the past months all three have been filled with old arcade titles such as Metal Slug and Gyruss, or NEO-GEO beat 'em ups.

But Sony has more to offer and it's not just old titles with boxy characters, but also next-gen titles, some of them in HD even. So without any delay, here's part of what's available on PlayStation Network until May 23rd:

1 - The best of the best in driving/racing simulators, Gran Turismo HD Concept is the eighth installment from Polyphony Digital, produced by Kazunori Yamauchi, available for the PS3, via PSN.

HD Concept is a first glimpse of developer Polyphony Digital's vision for how the Gran Turismo series will evolve during the next generation of gaming. Ten stunningly realistic cars are yours to command as you race around in stunning photo-realistic high definition, perfect for showing off what your new PS3™ can do.
Free download for a limited time only!

2 - Rub 'a' Dub Dub

Super Rub ‘a’ Dub is the PS3 puzzler that sees your SIXAXIS Wireless Controller skills tested to the limit. Your job is to roll and pitch the rubber ducks safely through a series of ingenious watery mazes. Fiendishly addictive fun.

3 - GO! SUDOKU

Download GO! SUDOKU All Levels for PS3 and enjoy a whole host of additional free content meaning you get much more fiendish puzzling action for your money! With 1200 puzzles ranging from easy to fiendish, there’s a Sudoku experience for everybody. Get downloading now to get the starter pack for free to see what all the fuss is about. Let’s get playing!

4 - Go with the flOw

Explore a surreal underwater abyss of simple organisms as you eat, grow and evolve into the deep. Download the full game of flOw to your PS3 and discover the wonder of this aquatic world.

There's much more available for you to check out and also to keep an eye out for, as coming soon to PSN are: Nucleus (shoot under the microscope), Calling all cars (catch the villain... of course) and MotorStorm and Resistance: Fall of Man as additional content.
