Downloadable content for the upcoming GTA is something everybody wants. Or...?

It was only yesterday when we brought you the news that the PlayStation 3 console scored a point against the Xbox 360, but now MS strikes back and packs such a powerful punch that almost KO's the PS3. We're no longer talking about Top Spin 3, but one of the most anticipated, if not THE most anticipated game of 2008: Grand Theft Auto IV. And it seems that the Xbox 360 will enjoy some exclusives.

Even though there were some small "misunderstandings" before between Rockstar and Microsoft, with the latter getting hyped up by an "exclusive GTA IV release" on the Xbox 360, things couldn't be that wrong twice, right? Well.. according to CVG, in its GDC keynote extravaganza, the industry giant Microsoft said that the first GTA IV downloadable content will be available this August as an Xbox 360 exclusive. Surprised? You should, since GTA started to write the history on the PlayStation consoles.

Even more, Grand Theft Auto IV: Episode One is only the first in the previously announced two downloadable contents and rumor says that Microsoft spent some money in order to get this 100 points achievement. Now, the question that really bothers us is: will there really be a worthy DLC, or people will only pay some extra money for one or two extra missions? Either way, it is still a blow for the PlayStation 3. And, probably, a chaos bringer, since a few days ago a chart surfaced the Internet - a chart stating that most gamers will buy the PS3 version of the Grand Theft Auto game.

Will things change now? Will Rockstar come out again and deny this piece of news? Will the episodic content really worth its money and, further more, Microsoft's costs of acquiring it? We will only know for sure starting this August, after the release. But we would love to hear your opinions regarding this move.
