14 DAY TRIAL // Fergal Gara, the leader of the United Kingdom division of Sony, believes that the PlayStation 4 is attractive enough to beat all previous sales records set by the company in the country.
He tells CVG that, “With PS4, stock allocation in the UK is very healthy indeed and we go into this ready and willing and break our own previous launch record.”
It’s interesting to note that at the moment the fastest-selling Sony device in the UK is the original PlayStation Portable handheld, which has managed to deliver 185,000 devices to gamers in under four days.
The PlayStation 4 has already sold 1 million units in the United States.
Sony has made available a 1.51 version of the platform’s firmware, which all those who buy a European console need to download in order to make sure that it is running well and supports all launch titles without any issues.
