The team in charge of the PlayStation 4 at Sony has announced that the What’s New Feature of the home console, which was disabled in order to deal with the European launch of the device, has now been restored and is ready to use.

An official Twitter message from the European division states, “We are pleased to announce that What's New on PSN is now live on #PS4. We will continue to update you as we bring new features. #4ThePlayers”

Previously, Sony had also disabled the Redeem Voucher functionality on the PSN, but it has also been brought back online.

The servers supporting the home console were overwhelmed when the new PS4 was launched in Europe, but since then, the congestion has been eliminated and all the core features are available to users.

The platform has managed to move 250,000 units to gamers in the United Kingdom alone.
